Westmeath wrapped their campaign up with a win over Monaghan.

Offaly rescued their division three status in the last round of their Lidl National Football League campaign on Saturday.

Having lost six from six games heading into their meeting with Sligo, Brían O'Ruairc and Danny McGarvey's side were underdogs.

That game finished 2-12 to 1-13.

In Division two, Laois were 2-9 to 1-5 winners over Roscommon to book their place in the league final and Westmeath finished their league campaign with a 2-10 to 1-11 win over Monaghan.
