Offaly And Westmeath Still Waiting On Walsh Cup Details

Offaly fans were left disappointed after conditions rendered Galway's visit unwatchable

It appears there'll be no games played by either county this week.

Offaly are still waiting to hear if their Walsh Cup fixture with Galway will be replayed after the game was abandoned due to fog on Sunday.

Henry Shefflin's side are set to face Laois in Ballinasloe this weekend, and are thought not to be keen on a rematch.

What is certain is that the game, if played, won't be happening this week.

Kilkenny and Carlow meet this evening after their match on Sunday was postponed.

Throw in at Netwatch Cullen Park is set for 7.45pm

While Westmeath and Antrim await confirmation of a potential place and time for their game.

The news coming from Westmeath's camp is their game will be fixed for Tuesday or Thursday next week.
