The Tullamore Parade will be held on Tuesday, March 17, starting at 11.30 a.m.
An Offaly Olympian is to be honoured with Grand Marshal role at her home town parade.
Gráinne Walsh, boxer and world class athlete has been named as the marshal of the Tullamore St. Patrick's day parade for 2026.
The Tullamore lady started boxing at 16 years, and made her way into the Irish Boxing team and represented Offaly and Ireland at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Last September she also secured a World Bronze Medal by defeating the Paris Olympic Silver Medalist, China's Yang Liu, on a 3-2 split decision during the quarter final contest.
