Tomás Ó Sé was speaking as Glenisk launched it's five-year sponsorship of Offaly Gaelic Games.
Kerry football great and current Offaly coach Tomás Ó Sé has outlined his disappointment at the GAA's promotion of the Tailteann Cup.
He says he's broadly in favour of the second-tier competition but doesn't think it's being given enough of an opportunity to succeed.
Offaly will be in the draw for Round One of the Tailteann Cup when it's made on Monday morning.
However Tomás Ó Sé isn't pleased with what he's seen so far:
Ó Sé was speaking as Glenisk launches its five-year title sponsorship of Offaly's GAA, LGFA and Camogie teams.
The deal also sees the Killeigh based yoghurt company sponsor Offaly's Go Games competitions.
