Offaly Discus thrower Cian Crampton took just one throw to make the Under 18 European Championship final in Slovakia.
The Edenderry athlete threw a season's best 58.59 qualify for the medal session in Banska Bystrica.
Crampton will be competing in the final at 6.15pm this evening.
