The Offaly Hall of Fame footballer for 2022 has been inducted at a ceremony at the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore on Saturday evening.
Rhode man Jody Gunning represented Offaly in their Senior All Ireland Football victory over Galway in 1971 and the 72 drawn final against Kerry.
He was a player, a referee, and an All Ireland winning manager with the Offaly under 21's in 1988.
Despite these remarkable successes, he tells Midlands 103 commentator Brian Gavin, he rates this Hall of Fame achievement among his best:
