Michael Duignan talks to Midlands 103 about the future of gaelic games in Offaly
Offaly GAA is at the very top of the tree when it comes to investing in its players.
That's the message coming from their Chair Michael Duignan after at the county's Development Squad Launch for 2024.
Offaly's senior sides are seeing record sums in terms of financial support, but Duignan says he's determined to ensure the same support is extended to the Faithful County's under 20, minor and development squads.
The Durrow man says counties need to express ambition to be the best in their planning first and foremost.
When the question of his personal future is raised, Duignan says he has no intention of moving to another role on the county board and will instead focus his efforts on national issues for GAA.
Beyond that the two time All Ireland winner will make himself available to help his successor on issues of sponsorship.
He talks to Midlands 103's Joe Troy about both his future, and that of Offaly GAA:
