The complexion of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship is beginning to take shape after the third round of games across the county yesterday afternoon.
The big upset came as Belmont gained their first win of the championship against previously unbeaten Birr in O'Connor Park in Tullamore.
David Nally knocking over the crucial score in the dying moments for a superb win for Belmont.
Elsewhere St. Rynaghs maintained their unbeaten start overcoming Coolderry by three points.
The other team with a 100% record is Kilcormac Killoughey as they had seven to spare over Shinrone who sit middle of the pack in the overall table now.

Kinnitty kept up their hopes of a last four spot as they defeated struggling Seir Kieran and Ballinamere picked up a first win of the championship season, condemning Drumcullen to a third defeat in succession.
With round three of five in the books, the current top four who are in line for a semi-final spot are Kilcormac-Killoughey, St. Rynaghs, Birr and Coolderry.
Kinnitty are also right there in the hunt, level on points with Birr and Coolderry.
