It was a good weekend for midlanders in the racing industry.
Offaly jockey Nikita Kane partnered her third winner in a month when she rode Lord Rapscallion to victory at Gowran Park during the week.
The Birr apprentice recorded her first victory in July when she partnered the same horse to win a handicap at Bellewstown.
The four-year-old went in again at odds of 14/1 when getting the better of the Dermot Weld-trained Baraniya in the opening 7f handicap.
Meanwhile, Mandarin Monarch won his seventh race for Mullingar-based trainer Andrew McNamara when taking the first of the two-mile handicaps at Tramore on Saturday.
Speaking after the race McNamara said they will look at sending him over hurdles in the coming months.
