Offaly Learn Route For Defence Of Leinster U-20 Crown Following Championship Draw

The draw has also taken place for the U-20 Leinster hurling championship.

Offaly's U20s will open up their Leinster Football title defense against Louth. 

Declan Kelly's side could then meet Carlow before a meeting with either Kildare or Laois in the semi-finals. 

Westmeath open up against Wicklow, with a crack at 2021 finalists Dublin in the last eight for the winner. 

Laois have received a bye into the quarter-final stage, where they face the lilywhites. 

Meanwhile, the draw for the Leinster U20 hurling championship has also taken place. 

Offaly have direct passage in the last eight where they face Kilkenny.

Laois have been drawn to face the winner's of Antrim and Down in round one, while at the same stage Westmeath will take on Carlow. 

Should the Lake County come throw that they'll face Wexford before a potential local derby against the O'Moore County. 

Laois will need to come through a second round tie against Meath or Kildare should they get the better of their Northern opposition.
