An Offaly man has won a prestigious prize at the 2021 Irish Godolphin Stud and Stable Staff Awards.
Keith Lynam from Castlejordan faced two rivals in the newcomer of the year category.
The 31 year-old only took up the stud groom role at Ringford Stud in Offaly in 2017 having previously worked as a chef.
Recently Mr. Lynam had a proud moment during Royal Ascot when one of the horses he once cared for won under Frankie Dettori:
