Offaly's new football manager is hoping Martin Murphy can carry his success from Portarlington into his role as selector with the Faithful County.
Liam Kearns has been an interested observer as the Offaly club championship went through the rounds, he's also been following to exploits of Murphy in Laois.
Port's form was open to question entering the county final after a string of narrow victories.
