Grainne Walsh needs two more wins to book her place in Paris.

Tullamore's Grainne Walsh is the latest Irish boxer to win at the Olympic qualifiers in Bangkok. 

She came through against her North Korean opponent Hyo Sun Hwang to advance to the last 16 in the 66-kilo section.

Walsh returns to fight for a third time when she enters the last 16 on Friday.

She needs two more wins to qualify for the Olympic games.

Earlier today, Martin McDonagh qualified for the last 16 of the Super Heavyweight division.
