Victory has ended a near 45 year drought for Offaly owned Greyhounds.
An Offaly owned Greyhound has won one of the the biggest races of the year.
Trinity Junior, by Laughil Blake, and out of Oi Oi Upenalty, was a winner in the final of the Boylesports Champion Stakes in front of a big crowd in Shelbourne Park on Saturday.
Victory in the race ended a near 45 year drought for Offaly owned dogs in the race, with a 20,000 euro first prize awarded to owner Timmy Slevin.
It's a 10th winner for the Edenderry man, who's dogs have gone well this year with four taking first place since January.
