Offaly SFC Preview: Three Horse Race To Avoid Relegation Playoff

Brian Gavin looks ahead to the final round of the Offaly Senior Football Championship.

The group stages are set to be complete this weekend in the Offaly Senior Football Championship.

2019 champions Ferbane can secure second place with a win over Clara, who are looking to cause an upset and claim their first win of the season. 

While in group 2, Bracknagh take on Rhode with each club still within reach of both a knockout place and a relegation playoff. 

Meanwhile, Tullamore face Durrow having already booked their place in the knockout rounds, while Durrow still have hopes of securing a quarter final place.

All games on Saturday throw in at 6:00pm.  

'Edenderry have been poor by their standards and are under pressure' according to Midlands 103 commentator, Brian Gavin. 

Declan Cummins' side face Shamrocks on Saturday in their final group game in the Offaly Senior Football Championship. 

Both sides are still winless after their opening two rounds having both claimed a draw with Bracknagh and a defeat to Rhode. 

A draw between the two sides will leave both on two points and potentially alongside Bracknagh should they lose to Rhode.
