Offaly SFC: Reigning Champions Tullamore Set Early Pace

Three of the four games played ended in draws.

The Offaly Senior Football Championship kicked off over the weekend.

Defending champions Tullamore came from five points down at half time to secure a 2-23 to 1-11 win away to Edenderry.

Elsewhere, a late Anton Sullivan point saved Rhode a point at home to Shamrocks on a final scoreline of 1-13 each.

Keith O’Neill similarly saved Clonbullogue a draw away to Ballycommon as that game ended 1-12 each.

And finally, Bracknagh’s Eoghan Geoghegan scored a late injury time goal to salve his side a draw at home to Clara as they played out a 3-13 to 1-19 draw.
