Elsewhere, a late Anton Sullivan point saved Rhode a point at home to Shamrocks on a final scoreline of 1-13 each.
Keith O’Neill similarly saved Clonbullogue a draw away to Ballycommon as that game ended 1-12 each.
And finally, Bracknagh’s Eoghan Geoghegan scored a late injury time goal to salvage his side a draw at home to Clara as they played out a 3-13 to 1-19 draw.
