Offaly SFC: Shamrocks And Tullamore Secure Semi-Final Spots

Ferbane and Rhode lie in wait for the weekend's winners.

Shamrocks and Tullamore booked their places in the semi-finals of the Offaly Football Championship over the weekend.

The two clubs are now just 60 minutes away from an appearance in the final.

Nigel Dunne's side secured a 1-19 to 1-12 win over Clara on Saturday to seal a final four clash against Ferbane.

Paddy Dunican kicked 1-12 for his side, with Dunne himself scoring 0-3.

The Rock's are aiming to reach their first decider since 2007.

Meanwhile, a strong second half display was enough for Tullamore as they beat Ballycommon by 5-13 to 0-12 on Sunday.

John Furlong got 2-0, with Harry Plunkett ending with 1-3 and Luke Plunkett and Luke Bourke getting the other goals.

Tullamore will take on Rhode for a place in the final as they continue their hunt for a fourth title on the bounce.
