Offaly SHC: Belmont And Shinrone Aiming To Keep Up 100% Starts

'I wouldn't rule out a draw between Belmont and Shinrone, it's a very hard game to call'. 

Those are the thoughts of Midlands 103 commentator John Leahy ahead of this weekend's Offaly Senior Hurling Championship action. 

The group 2 clash see's Trevor Fletcher go up against his old side in a repeat of last season's semi-final. 
  
Both sides will be hoping to keep up their 100% records come the final whistle. 

Despite Belmont's injury problems, Leahy says it will be a closely contested encounter:

A win for Birr against St Rynaghs will give them a 'pep in their step' according to Midlands 103 commentator John Leahy. 

The two sides face off this evening in Group One in the third round of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship. 

Both teams have 100% records going into this encounter after wins over Tullamore and Kinnitty respecvtively. 

Leahy says Birr and St Rynaghs are still part of the four favoruites for the championship:

Leahy also previewed this weekend's other fixtures, including Seir Kieran vs Ballinamere and Tullamore vs Kilcormac-Killoughey.
