A late surge of scores saw Coolderry over the line at St Brendan's Park in Birr.
Coolderry booked their place in the knockout round of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship with a deserved win over Belmont on Saturday.
After finding themselves level with Belmont half way through the first half, the 2018 county champions managed to reach half time five points clear.
The contest remained competitive until the final quarter when Coolderry hit eight of the last 10 scores in the game.
They progress to a quarter-final, where they'll play St Ryangh's while Belmont's championship campaign ends with Saturday's 1-24 to 2-13 defeat.
