Elsewhere, St Ryanghs had a more convincing victory over Kinnitty to seal second place in the same group.
The 2021 champions were 3-19 to 0-11 winners and will now face Coolderry in the quarter finals in two weeks time, with third place Birr taking on reigning champions Shinrone.
Kinnitty will meet Seir Kieran in the relegation final.
