Offaly SHC: Wins For Shinrone, Tullamore, Birr And Kilcormac Killoughey

Round five games will occur in two weeks.

The fourth round of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship took place over the weekend.

Results from the weekend's games leaves everything to play for in the final round.

Shinrone kept their championship season alive as Mark Morkan's side recorded a second half comeback to defeat Belmont by 1-23 to 1-21 yesterday.

Despite trailing by 1-12 to 1-8 at the break, the 2025 finalists rallied during the second period and outscored their opponents by 0-15 to 0-9, with Adam Landy and Donal Morkan combining for 0-15.

Tullamore made it two wins from four games as Shane Hand's side saw off Lusmagh by 2-21 to 0-21 on Saturday evening.

Goals from Ger Crowe and Shane Dooley made the difference as Tullamore moved onto four points and depending on results elsewhere in the final round, they could be set to reach the knockout stages.

Elsewhere, reigning champions Kilcormac Killoughey rallied late on to claim victory over St Rynagh's by 0-25 to 2-17.

Despite goals from Stephen Quirke and Darragh Scully, KK did enough to seal the victory, with Colin Spain finishing with 0-5 and Daniel Hand contributing 0-9.

They'll face Birr in the final round knowing defeat could knock them out and send Birr into the quarter finals.

Birr were 1-23 to 0-13 winners over Kinnitty, with Ailbe Watkins finishing with 1-10.

Round 5 takes place in two weeks time.
