The Cats led the game throughout to eventually win 3-21 to 1-16 at Nowlan Park. They go on to face Galway in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Laois, Offaly and Westmeath have progressed to the knockout stages of the Leinster Minor Football Championship after the final group stages games last night.
Laois go into the quarter-finals on the back of an impressive 4-19 to 0-12 win over Louth at O'Moore Park.
Offaly were beaten by Longford 2-11 to 0-8, but enter a preliminary quarter-final away to Carlow.
