Former Tullamore Harrier Ann-Marie McGlynn was representing Letterkenny AC at yesterday's Wrexham Elite Marathon.
She gained a huge personal best, Commonwealth Standard and beat her own Northern Irish marathon record with a time of 2:29.34.
She narrowly missed out on the Olympic standard by four seconds.
Ann-Marie beat her own previous record of 2:34.54, which she set in Dublin in 2019.
