Offaly's all time leading championship scorer has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling.
Shane Dooley is calling time on his career in the green, white and gold of Offaly after he made his debut 17 years ago.
The Tullamore man hit a remarkable 22 goals and 237 points in championship action in that time.
The 37 year old is the latest in the storied lineage of Dooley hurlers.
Shane's father Joe was a three time All Ireland champion.
