The Doon woman has made 14 appearances for her country since 2018.
Offaly’s Michelle Claffey has announced her retirement from international rugby after 14 caps for her country.
The 34-year-old Doon woman made her debut in 2018, and featured for Ireland in the most recent Six Nations last month.
Making the announcement, Michelle said that “representing (her) country is an amazing privilege and honour”, and she thanked “all the people who made it what it was.”
She will continue to line out in the backs for her club Blackrock.
Ireland, you've been incredible. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the highs, but not so much the lows
