There was plenty of midlands representation at the National Athletics Championships this weekend.
Mullingar Harriers dominated the 10k Walk at the National Athletics Championships.
Oisin Lane set a personal best on his way to claiming first position in the event - he finished with a time of 40:25.99, moving him to sixth on the Irish all-time list.
Matthew Glennon and Andrew Glennon secured third and fourth place, respectively, in the same race.
Cormac Dalton, also of the Mullingar Harriers, finished strong in the 5k final, securing a time of 13:55.01 to land in third place at the finish line.
There was also strong midlands representation in the Women's 5k final, with Mullingar Harriers' Claire Fagan finishing fifth, and Tullamore's Laura Mooney, and Danielle and Nadine Donegan claiming ninth, 11th and 12th, respectively.
Ava O'Connor, also of Tullamore Harriers, did not finish.
