Olympics Chiefs Urged To Let Spectators Attend From Overseas

The call comes from World Athletics boss, Lord Coe.

World Athletics boss Lord Coe is urging organisers of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics to allow fans from overseas to attend.

No official announcement's been made but it was reported this week that only Japanese residents would be able to make up the crowd.

It's to minimise the risk of coronavirus.

But Lord Coe - who oversaw London 2012 - reckons a different and safe outcome can be reached:
