St. Carthages Athletic got the better of Cloncollig Celtic  4-2, Ballinahown beat Coolraine 2-1, Cloneygowan Celtic advanced after beating Mountmellick Utd 3-2, It finished Mullingar Town 1 Temple Villa A 6 and Willow Park also had a big win as they cruised to 4 goals to 0 win over Hollywood FC.

John Farrell Combined Counties Cup 2nd Round.

Clara Town got the better of Melville FC 2-0 and Ballybrittas beat Abbeyleix 4-3 on penalties to advance to the third round.

Senior Division

St Peters have maintained their 100% start to the season as they got the better of Birr Town by 3 goals to 0.

Women’s Division

Banagher Utd triumphed over Portlaoise by 3 goals to 0 and in the only other game, Killeigh Rovers went down 3-1 to Mountmellick Utd.

And finally there was one game in the FAI Women’s Amateur Cup Preliminary Round where Newtown Rovers advanced after a 3-2 win over Ballymackey FC.
