A win will secure the Laois side a place in the Leinster final.

Portarlington are just one win away from competing in a first ever Leinster Football decider.

The Laois champions travel to Kildare to take on Athy in a semi-final clash this weekend, for the chance to meet the winners of Tullamore and Ballyboden St Enda's in Croke Park.

Pat Roe's side secured their spot with impressive away victories against Old Leighlin and Naomh Mairtin.

Team captain Ronan Coffey says Athy will provide the toughest challenge for his side this season:

Throw in is at 2:00pm from St Conleth's Park this Saturday.
