St.George's Head gave him a 4/1 winner in the last.
Portarlington's Kieran Cotter kept up a good season long strike rate at Dundalk.
St.George's Head got his head in front in the lucky last at 4/1 under Declan McDonagh, adding to a 14/1 place for Lady Andaz a half hour earlier.
It's the second win in three trips to the Co.Louth track for St. George's Head.
The winner will have come as a relief to Cotter, who earlier saw two of his team beaten at short prices in the opening two contests.
Ahyoka went off the 2/1 favourite is the opener but could only manage 7th, while Zen Silence was even shorter at 13/8 but didn't get the best of runs to come home in 5th.
