Portlaoise Panthers have made more history after the Laois club got the better of Moy Tolka Rovers on Saturday night to advance to their first ever National League Division 1final.
The North Conference winners were made to work however, the Dublin side pushing the midlanders all the way to a 97 to 94 scoreline.
The final match up will see a repeat pairing of the National Cup Final, after Limerick Celtics took care of Ulster University in the other semi final 73 points to 65.
Head coach Jack Scully says he was delighted with the way his players performed.
The final has been scheduled for 12th of April at the National Basketball Arena with tip off at 8 o'clock.
