The race begins on May 20th.
Portlaoise is set to host the stage one start of the 2026 Rás Tailteann.
The 71st edition of the 161.6 kilometre stage race begins on May 20th and continues until the 24th.
The race will set off from Portlaoise, before the riders set out for Kilmallock, Co. Limerick for the opening day of racing.
The course will take the race through Abbeyleix, Ballacolla, Rathdowney, Errill, Clonmore, Templemore and Borrisoleigh, before arriving at the opening climbs of Rás Tailteann 2026 in the Silvermines at Dolla.
