Preparations Well Underway In Westmeath Ahead Of All-Ireland Ladies' Semi-Final

A GoFundMe page set up on behalf of the team has raised almost €4,000 this week. 

The build up to this weekend's All-Ireland Ladies' Intermediate Semi-Final is well and truly underway in Westmeath. 

Their local derby with Meath will take centre stage this Sunday, before the senior decider between Cork and Dublin. 

Fiona Claffey was part of the Lake County team that won promotion to the senior ranks in 2011. 

She says she'll be doing her best to help members of the panel playing in Croke Park for the first time:

A GoFundMe page set up on behalf of the team has raised almost €4,000 this week. 

The All-Ireland finalists set an initial target of €5,000 to help the team in the build up to their big day and funding of the team into next season.
