A prize-giving event for the successful Paddy Fenning Walk took place recently at Tullamore GAA Centre.
The walk, held in Tullamore on September 26 last, the 50th anniversary of Offaly's breakthrough All-Ireland win in 1971, was a huge success with Paddy's surviving Offaly teammates parading the Sam Maguire Cup once again.
The event helped raise in excess of €150,000 was raised for motor neurone disease research and support services as well as homeless causes in Offaly.
The fundraiser will officially close down shortly though donations can still be made in the meantime via paddyfenningwalk.com.
