Quarter Final Places For Laois And Offaly In U20 Hurling Championship

The quarter final places take place on the Bank Holiday weekend.

Offaly suffered defeat in the Leinster U20 Hurling Championship last night. 

Leo O'Connor's side were comprehensively beaten 4-23 to 0-15 points at home to Dublin, with victory securing the Dub's a place in the semi-finals. 

Darragh Kilduff impressed with a goal and three points, with Senan Bolger also shining with two goals. 

Defeat means Offaly will go into the quarter finals on the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Elsewhere, Laois claimed a quarter final spot as they defeated Meath 2-18 to 2-13 in Trim. 

Cormac Byrne was his side's top scorer with 1-6, while Patrick O’Callaghan got their other goal.
