Over 100 of the world's best female riders will be taking on the Slieve Bloom mountains in this year's Rás na mBan.
This year marks the 17th edition of the international bike race and is the seventh year the race is based in and around Kilkenny.
Riders from all over the world will descend upon the midlands to compete against some of the best local talent Ireland has to offer.
Stage three will begin in Portlaoise and finish up in Mountrath.
The 400km bike race will begin in Kilkenny on September 6th and run over five days before it's conclusion on the 10th at Kilkenny Castle Criterium.
