This year marks the 19th edition of the international bike race and is the ninth year the race is based in and around Kilkenny.
Riders from all over the world will descend upon the midlands to compete against some of the best local talent Ireland has to offer.
Stage three will begin in Portlaoise with riders set to face the famous ‘The Cut’ climb in the Slieve Bloom Mountains before racing back to Mountrath.
The 400km bike race gets underway in Kilkenny on September 3rd and will run over five days before it's conclusion on the 7th at Kilkenny Castle Criterium.
