Record Time Broken At Tullamore Half Marathon

Jake O'Regan created history on Saturday.

It was a successful weekend for midlands club in the Tullamore Half Marathon.

Jake O’Regan of St John’s FC crossed the finish line in 1:05:23 seconds, beating the previous record of 1:05:49. 

Kevin Minnock was first over the line for Tullamore Harriers as he came in fourth place. 

Galway City Harriers member Meabh Brannigan won the Women’s race, finishing ahead of Aislinn Hogan of Ballyskenach athletic club and Niamh Mcentegart of Mullingar Harriers. 

Meanwhile, the Quinlan Cup was won by the Tullamore Harriers, and the Phyllis Delaney Cup was won by Mullingar Harriers.
