Relief As Delayed Leinster Minor Football And Hurling Finals Set To Be Re-Scheduled

Inter-county minor and under-20 players can resume training on Monday, it’s been confirmed.

Matches in those age grades will be permitted from June 7th.

This will come as great relief to both the Offaly minor footballers and hurlers who are due to play in delayed Leinster finals.

Regrettably, the GAA has been informed that under the new Level 5 restrictions, inter-county minor games are not allowed after 27th Dec., so the Leinster MFC & MHC finals are postponed.

The GAA intends to play the games at the first available opportunity.

The Central Competitions Control Committee will publish its fixture list for minor and under-20 championships in the coming days.
