RFU Says If Games Don't Return Until 2021 It'll Be "Catastrophic"

Matches are currently suspended due to COVID-19.

Rugby Football Union boss Bill Sweeney says it will be "catastrophic" if the game isn't played in England until the summer of 2021.

The coronavirus pandemic means matches are currently suspended and there are health concerns around the close contact it entails.

Sweeney told a UK government committee this morning they would need a significant bailout if they can't play internationals - because it bankrolls the domestic game
