The Kildare side now progress to the All Ireland semi-finals.
Tubberclair's season came to an end over the weekend after they fell to defeat in the final of the Leinster Intermediate Football Championship.
The Westmeath side were beaten by Kildare side Sallins on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-4 in St Conleth's Park on Sunday.
Daire O'Connor and Matthew Whittaker's second half goals left the sides level heading into the final 10 minutes.
However, a strong finish from Sallins, including a James Dalton goal meant that their victory coming into the final stretch was sealed.
