They ended the fairytale run of Kildare to do so.
Offaly survived a first half score in the Bord Gais Leinster U-20 Hurling Championship last night.
A confident Kildare side went into the break level at 0-11 apiece and it seemed as if this one was going down to the wire.
Whatever message was relayed to the faithful troops at half-time however lit a fire beneath them.
They'd go on to win the second period 2-14 to 0-5 and run out twelve point victors on the night.
DJ Loughlin and Joe Ryan struck the Offaly goals while Jack Screeney was ruthlessly efficient from placed balls, scoring eleven frees in total.
