The officially opening is at 6pm this evening.
Former hurler of the year Richie Hogan will be on hand this evening to officially open a new handball club in Westmeath.
Clonkill hurling club will host the facility just outside Mullingar.
It gets underway at 6pm this evening.
Former Westmeath captain Eoin Price is one of those who is a big believer in the game of handball and it's benefits:
It's just brilliant to have the hall there that you have the proper dimensions so you kind of have a head-start straight away and if you want to progress at it you are used to playing off the proper size court.
So it'll stand to anyone who wants to play the game competitively but also for those who want to use it in the winter to keep fit casually and just try their hand at something different.
