Shane Lowry Commits To Playing This Year's Irish Open

Up to 5,000 fans per day could be allowed to attend at Mount Juliet.

Shane Lowry has committed to playing this year’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. 

The Offaly man will be joined by Rory McIlroy, Padraig Harrington and Graeme McDowell at Mount Juliet from July 1st.

Up to 5,000 fans per day could be allowed attend the County Kilkenny course. 

 

Elsewhere,

Padraig Harrington missed out on US Open qualification by a single stroke. 

The European Ryder Cup captain ended the qualifying tournament in California on 5-under par. 

Former Masters runner-up Rickie Fowler also missed out by the most narrow of margins, as did Keegan Bradley.
