Journalist Alan Shipnuck was removed from a press conference by security after the opening round at the Centurion.
Shipnuck contacted LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman about the incident, with the Aussie claiming to have no knowledge.
Video later emerged of Norman standing directly behind the journalist as his ejection unfolded.
