Shane Lowry Posts Positive Second Round But Looks Set To Miss Cut

He will be relying on others dropping shots to make the weekend.

Shane Lowry is hovering around the cut mark at the HSBC Championship in Abu Dhabi.

He's just finished his second round, carding a 2 under par round of 70, leaving him on 1 over.

The Open Champion was forced to play 25 holes today after bad weather prematurely put an end to his first round yesterday.

Par is the current line to make the weekend, but a number of players are yet to play their second round.

Rory McIlroy is level par for the day in second place on 8 under par two shots behind Tyrell Hatton.

Padraig Harrington is 2 under par.

Graeme McDowell is a shot ouside the cut line on even par.
