It's a five year commitment from the 2019 Open Champion.
Offaly GAA are set to announce that Shane Lowry is going to become a major sponsor of the county.
The Open Champion will be involved in supplementing the playing structures in Offaly with a particular focus at underage level.
There will also be a commercial and fundraising link between the two.
A statement from Offaly GAA said:
Offaly GAA are in the process of preparing a Strategic Plan which will have a significant focus on player development. As an elite international sportsman. Shane has offered his experience and expertise to inspire and help improve the development of our players.
He will also support commercial and fundraising initiatives to help fund improvements in the underage coaching programmes and develop educational bursaries for young players.
Shane's father Brendan was part of the 1982 SFC winning team so the Clara man has always had a keen interest and attended games in both codes when his playing schedule allows.
Delighted to announce that Shane Lowry, the reigning Open Champion, has pledged his support as an Official Partner with Offaly GAA.
