Tómas O Sé will act as a selector for John Maughan in 2022.
Former Kerry footballer Tómas O Sé is joining the Offaly senior football backroom team for the upcoming season.
It's his first role at inter-county level but O Sé has been coaching Glanmire's senior team in Cork as well as being a part of the UCC set up.
The news comes as Offaly county board formally announced that its been recommended that John Maughan remain in charge for 2022.
Michael Fennelly is also set to remain as senior hurling boss as Offaly tackle Division One league and Joe McDonagh Cup hurling next year.
The Offaly GAA Management Committee is pleased to formally recommend the reappointment of John Maughan and Michael Fennelly as managers of the county senior football and hurling teams for 2022.
