Athlone were comfortable 4-1 winners over Treaty United on Saturday.

Athlone Town have moved up to third in the Women's National League after a sixth consecutive win.

A 4-1 home win over bottom side Treaty United on Saturday night included goals from Jessica Hennessy, Muireann Devaney and a brace of penalties from Emily Corbet.

Athlone are now one point behind Wexford Youths in second, and the two teams meet this Saturday in Wexford.

Meanwhile, Clara Town secured the CCFL Senior Division title at Gainestown on Saturday night.

The title playoff against Monksland United went to extra time, with Clara eventually winning 3-2.
