Six Uncapped Players Called Up For Ireland's Autumn Internationals

Robbie Henshaw among the 37 players called up for games against South Africa, Fiji and Australia at the Aviva Stadium.

Six uncapped players have been included in the Ireland squad for next month’s autumn internationals.

Leinster trio Ciaran Frawley, Joe McCarthy and Jimmy O’Brien are joined by Munster pair Calvin Nash and Jeremy Loughman.

And having played for Emerging Ireland on their tour of South Africa, Connacht forward Cian Prendergast also gets the nod.

James Lowe, Keith Earls and Iain Henderson all miss out through injury.

Ireland face the world champion Springboks in their first match at the Aviva on November 5th.

It’s also been confirmed today that England will face Ireland at the Aviva for a World Cup warm-up match.

The game will take place on August 19th, three weeks before Ireland’s first pool match against Romania.
